Role
Who you are
- You're someone who understands that great social content sits at the intersection of culture, creativity and distribution
- You might have come from a social strategy, creator, agency, publisher, media or content background. What's important is that you've already helped grow social channels and can demonstrate what you achieved
- Has hands-on experience growing social accounts, with the results to prove it
- Understands how TikTok, YouTube and Instagram actually distribute content
- Is comfortable deep-diving into platform analytics and turning numbers into decisions
- Has a strong instinct for what makes people stop, watch, share and follow
- Is constantly watching what is happening across the internet and spotting what's next
- Can work confidently with creatives and producers and knows how to bring data into a creative conversation without killing the creativity
- Can turn a complicated retention graph into one simple, useful piece of feedback
- Is comfortable presenting recommendations and challenging assumptions with evidence
- Is curious, commercially minded and genuinely excited by the idea of figuring out why something worked — and what we can do with that knowledge next
- Proven experience in social strategy, channel management, social growth, content strategy or a similar role
- A strong understanding of short-form and long-form content distribution
- Deep familiarity with TikTok, YouTube and Instagram analytics and platform mechanics
- Experience using data to influence creative or content decisions
- Strong understanding of metrics including retention, watch time, CTR, engagement, shares and audience growth
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to turn insight into clear action
- A genuine obsession with social media, internet culture and great content
What the job involves
- Now we're looking for a Social Strategy Manager to help shape what we make next
- This is a role for someone who is obsessed with the internet — someone who can spot a format before it blows up, understand why a video makes people stop scrolling, and turn those insights into ideas that our creative and production teams can actually make
- You'll own the strategy across our social channels, working closely with our Head of Brand, creatives, producers and editors to decide what we should be making, how we should package it and how we can keep growing our audience
- This isn't a reporting role
- You'll have a point of view. You'll be expected to bring ideas to the table, challenge creative thinking, spot opportunities and use data to make our work better
- Own our social strategy
- Develop and own the strategy for Studio B's social channels across TikTok, YouTube and Instagram
- You'll understand our audiences, our content and our goals — and turn that understanding into a clear view of what we should be making more of, less of and experimenting with next
- Turn culture into creative opportunities
- Stay relentlessly close to what's happening across the internet
- Spot emerging formats, creators, sounds, memes, behaviours and cultural moments — and work out how Studio B could put its own creative spin on them
- The goal isn't to chase every trend. It's to know which ones matter and why
- Work with our creative and production teams
- You'll sit at the heart of the creative process
- You'll work with creatives, producers and editors to develop ideas, shape briefs and make content designed to work on social from the start
- You'll be able to say:
- "This is a great idea — here's how I think we make it impossible to scroll past."
- Understand why content works
- Dive deep into the data behind our content
- You'll use retention, watch time, CTR, shares, saves, follows and other platform signals to understand what is resonating with our audience — and, crucially, why
- If we lose 30% of viewers in the first three seconds, you won't just put it in a report. You'll work with the creative team to figure out what we should do differently next time
- Build a constant learning loop
- Every piece of content should teach us something
- You'll analyse performance, identify patterns and turn those learnings into clear recommendations for our next ideas, formats and productions
- Over time, you'll help us build a deep understanding of what makes Studio B content travel
- Experiment and grow
- Test hooks, formats, edits, titles, thumbnails, posting strategies and packaging
- You'll constantly look for ways to make our content more watchable, shareable and discoverable — and use the results to inform the wider channel strategy
- Ultimately, you'll help turn 25 million followers into an even bigger audience

Founded by hit YouTuber Brandon Baum, StudioB is a creative studio making content for a wealth of leading companies. Its in-house production team consists of VFX specialists, producers and editors, all working to create social shorts, high-end branded content and viral-ready ads.
StudioB stands out from the crowd through its embracing of tech such as AI. It utilises this to streamline the creation process, using AI as a tool rather than a replacement for its creatives. This approach must be working, as the studio has worked with huge clients such as Disney, Cadbury’s and Netflix.
In 2025, StudioB made headlines with its AI dating show, in which contestants must work out which blind date is a bot and which is human.
