Role
Who you are
- 7+ years working in a Sales role. 2+ years selling SaaS into Enterprise
- 2+ years of $1M+ quota, $150k+ ACV deals, and closing sales cycles of 6+ months
- Demonstrated experience in both closing + expanding strategic accounts
- Demonstrated experience consistently outperforming targets
- You can build trust and rapport with everyone from front-line teams on the factory floor to the C-suite of a Fortune 500 company
- You are clear, concise, authentic & empathetic
What the job involves
- Sell into the world’s largest manufacturers, distributors & logistics companies
- Be responsible for closing new logos and then working with Client Success to expand those new logos as much and as quickly as possible
- You'll collaborate with our dedicated SDR team in addition to actively contributing to your own pipeline development through self-directed prospecting initiatives
- Spend ±1 week a month in the field, including attending 3-6 tradeshows a year and visits to potential clients
- When faced with challenges, whether they’re of your own making or not, you do everything in your power to solve them. For instance, if pipeline needs strengthening, you might:
- Help up-skill SDRs
- Make up for the gap with your own pipeline generation
- Your success is measured by helping customers grow from initial pilots to full-scale implementations
- Think long term & act in the best interest of the customer
- Collaborate closely with other teams (Customer Success, Product, Engineering) to ensure we over deliver
- Excel at strategic deal qualification, clear expectation setting, and cross-functional teamwork to exceed customer goals
Our take
Health & Safety in industrial, factory, and warehouse environments has long been bemoaned for how it slows work processes down, and for how imperfect it is. It often takes accidents to happen (or be narrowly missed) for interventions to take place, and as a result, around 5,000 people a year are still killed in workplace accidents in the US alone.
Protex AI is out to make workplaces safer by turning CCTV cameras into AI-powered safety auditors. Its software plugs into an existing CCTV system and maps the actions of people, vehicles, and other equipment, and can then automatically capture and report on risks – ultimately allowing H&S teams to make more data-informed decisions.
Since being founded in 2021, Protex AI’s forward thinking approach has seen it expand into locations across Ireland, the UK, and the US, winning major customers such as Marks & Spencer and P&G. Now fresh from a major funding round, the startup is getting ready for a significant expansion, with a keen focus on the US in particular.
