Who you are
- 5-10 years of experience managing social media accounts for a brand, with a proven track record of driving growth and engagement
- A portfolio showcasing your ability to create engaging content across multiple platforms (please include links)
- Strong visual and written storytelling skills with an eye for design and branding
- Deep knowledge of platform-specific best practices for Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, and emerging channels
- Experience in the fitness, sports, or wellness industry is a plus
- Experience working with a direct-to-consumer (DTC) brand is a plus
- A growth-driven mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and experiment with new approaches
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Passion for fitness, health, or wellness is a big plus!
What the job involves
- We are seeking a talented and hands-on Social Media Manager to join our dynamic marketing team. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you’ll work alongside Creative, Growth, Partnerships, and Content teams to build Future’s online presence, drive user growth, and make our brand stand out
- You’ll play a critical role in developing and executing strategies, creating compelling content, and fostering a loyal online community
- Channel Strategy: Develop and execute social media strategies tailored to each platform to maximize reach, engagement, and growth
- Content Creation: Produce high-quality, on-brand content for social media channels, including graphics, videos, captions, and stories
- Trend Spotting: Stay on top of industry trends, viral moments, and reactive opportunities to keep Future relevant and engaging
- Community Moderation: Actively monitor and engage with followers, responding to comments, messages, and mentions to foster a loyal community
- Growth Focus: Create campaigns that drive user acquisition, retention, and engagement through creative storytelling and strategic planning
- Performance Analysis: Track and analyze key performance metrics to inform future content strategies and optimizations
Our take
An increasing number of people are becoming unhealthy as a result of their lifestyle choices or a lack of motivation. Unfortunately not everyone feels like going to the gym. Future offers one-on-one digital training with fitness coaches at home, the gym, or on-the-go. It wants to make sure that people can exercise anywhere, at any time, and that they keep up with a good fitness program.
Future pairs its clients with coaches who create a complete training plan based around the client’s goals and schedule. Each week, they’ll have new guided workouts in the Future app. The company uniques uses technology, such as sending the client an Apple Watch for easy tracking of progress. Its focus is on consumer experience and intimacy, connecting with its users and expressing that it cares about their well-being.
The company faces competition from Centr, Aaptiv, Fitocracy, Sworkit in a global digital fitness market expected to reach $26 billion by 2028. Its 2022 Series C funding will be invested into accelerating its product development efforts whilst pushing to boost its revenue in the coming years.
