Who you are
- Have 2–5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience (AE or SDR → AE path)
- Are comfortable doing both outbound and closing
- Thrive in early-stage environments with little structure
- Have strong discovery, demo, and follow-up skills
- Work with energy, urgency, and a sports-team mentality
- Are results-driven, accountable, and constantly looking to improve
- Use your tools (HubSpot, ChatGPT, email, calendar) without handholding
- Collaborate well with peers, founders, and other departments
What the job involves
- As our second Account Executive, you’ll work across the entire sales funnel. You’ll drive results across inbound, outbound, and reactivation, working closely with our first rep, marketing, and founders
- We’re still early, processes are light, systems are evolving, and wins come from resourcefulness, energy, and ownership
- We’ve built a healthy inbound pipeline and recently made our first sales hire. Now we’re expanding the team to:
- Accelerate high-potential inbound trials
- Run outbound to land more mid-market accounts
- Re-engage past leads and churned customers
- This role is a unique opportunity to join the founding sales team, which has strong product-market fit, real volume, and tons of room to grow
- Tools We Use:
- HubSpot (CRM)
- Intercom (product signals & lead intent)
- Zoom, Apollo, Slack
- ChatGPT
- This role will engage with self-serve trialers who show intent but aren’t converting
- Deliver consultative demos and guide them to the right plans or use cases
- Reduce time-to-close and improve conversion rates through proactive follow-up
- Identify and research mid-market targets that match our ICP
- Write and send targeted outreach sequences (email, LinkedIn)
- Drive discovery conversations that highlight product value early
- Reconnect with closed/lost or inactive trial accounts
- Identify expansion opportunities within recently converted users
- Help revive accounts that churned but have reactivated interest
- Log activity and pipeline details in HubSpot
- Help refine sales messaging, outbound cadences, and qualification frameworks
- Share feedback with product and marketing to improve activation and GTM alignment
Our take
As companies start out, it's difficult to see the rationale for investing much time, money or talent into customer relationship management systems. But as they grow, the cleanliness and reliability of this data becomes paramount for business operations, and untangling it becomes a difficult and expensive affair. Enter Insycle, a data management tool that can take the pain and hard work out of cleansing and maintaining company information.
Insycle has found a niche for itself in this space, as the usual solution to this problem is to assign data teams to import data into a single spreadsheet and clean it by hand, or to go through the process of developing an in-house API to handle data cleansing. Insycle's functionality and numerous integrations with marketing tools like Mailchimp and Salesforce have made it popular with its thousands of active customers, as its high rating and glowing reviews on G2 show.
Insycle is continuing to develop its product and increase its marketing reach. Having cornered a unique niche with a well-received product, it seems likely that Insycle could grow to be a significant player in this sector.
