Who you are
- Experience in YouTube channel management (personal or business)
- Digitally literate with knowledge of the YouTube platform and algorithm
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Experience using Photoshop for the design and creation of thumbnails and other channel art
- Numerate and analytical - comfortable with understanding and sharing data insights with business stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to quality control and editorial standards
- A team player - willing to work hard, think creatively and demonstrate real passion for Acamar and Bing
- Highly organised - able to manage and communicate workloads and priorities and work well within a small team

What the job involves
- We are currently looking for a Junior Channel Manager to join our YouTube team, reporting directly to the Head of Channel Management who oversees Acamar’s fifty-three YouTube channels
- We have an in-house Production Team who are responsible for producing the content for our YouTube channels and this role is responsible for scheduling, uploading the content and managing those channels
- The successful candidate will help to manage the day-to-day operations of our hugely successful multi-territory Bing YouTube channels
- Our content speaks directly to young, pre-school children along with their carers and guardians
- As a member of the YouTube team, the candidate will work to achieve network growth, engage audiences across multiple territories and help drive commercial revenues
- The ideal candidate will combine knowledge of the YouTube platform with an audience-first mentality, and have the ability to navigate data and performance insights to make the best decisions needed to drive audience and revenue growth
- Bing is hugely popular and much-loved amongst little ones and grown-ups and has enjoyed extraordinary success across broadcast and digital platforms in recent years
- YouTube remains one of our most important, exciting and creative platforms to spread awareness of all things Bing and share the joyful, messy fun of caring for young children
- Manage publishing operations for several ‘Bing’ YouTube Channels
- Upload content, ensuring adherence to platform best practices
- Share performance and revenue updates with the wider team
- Cross-departmental working with other teams in the organisation e.g. Social, Marketing, Video, etc
- Continuously optimise back catalogue content eg via new thumbnails and titles
- Suggest content ideas and feed back on edits where appropriate
- Utilise data analysis to provide actionable insights and growth strategies
- Keep abreast of YouTube platform developments, trends, and training
- Optimise titles, descriptions, and keywords for SEO
- Write and edit metadata and copy for videos and channels
- Ensure ‘Bing’ values of accuracy and quality are upheld across all channels
