Who you are
- The ideal candidate has strong experience with benefits administration and the employee lifecycle
- 2-4 years of HR experience
- Proven experience managing US benefits and 401(k) enrollment
- Strong understanding of California employment laws
- Located in the San Jose area and able to work a hybrid schedule
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
What the job involves
- Kody is scaling rapidly across the world. Now we’re looking for an HR Generalist to manage US HR operations for our San Jose office
- Onboarding/Offboarding: Manage the full process for new hires and terminations, including paperwork, background checks, and equipment logistics
- Benefits: Administer US health insurance (Medical/Dental/Vision) and 401(k) plans. Handle annual open enrollment
- Records: Maintain digital employee files and ensure data integrity in our HR systems
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to Federal and CA state labor laws
- Admin: Support general office administration and employee inquiries

Kodypay offers hospitality businesses a complete payments solution that aggregates QR, terminal and third party delivery services. By marketing itself as a sole payments provider, KodyPay seeks to displace legacy terminal providers, as well as providing QR web flow products. As such KodyPay offers its customers a simpler and more cost effective means of managing payments.
Sunday, Zapper, Droplet, and FlyPay are among the many companies offering similar services with strong uptake and healthy funding, but KodyPay's all-in-one proposition gives it a vital edge. This is exemplified by healthy Series A funding awarded to KodyPay in 2024 that comes off the back of a reported annualised processing volume nearing $1billion in value.
