Role
Who you are
- We are looking for a sales professional with a deep technical orientation and a startup mindset—someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, takes initiative, and excels in creative problem-solving
- 10+ years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 5 years selling deep tech products in diverse environments (on-prem, VPC, cloud-native)
- 5+ years of experience selling to large enterprises (5,000+ employees), managing and closing high-value (7-figure) deals
- Proven track record of successfully selling AI products or deep technical solutions, demonstrating a strong understanding of the AI domain- strong advantage
- Established network of enterprise contacts and the ability to leverage past relationships to drive new business
- Strong technical acumen, with the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner
- A hunter- comfortable with (and strives) generating their own pipeline
- Entrepreneurial mindset—high resilience, self-driven, creative problem-solver, and comfortable in a fast-moving, evolving environment
- Experience managing long, complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and C-level executives
- Passionate about AI, innovation, and transformative technology
What the job involves
- As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will be a key member of our EMEA sales team, responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives
- You will lead complex sales cycles, engaging with large enterprises (5,000+ employees) and managing high-value, seven-figure deals
- Your role will involve prospecting, building relationships, and closing deals with organizations exploring or expanding their use of generative AI solutions
- Meet and exceed sales quotas within assigned enterprise accounts
- Proactively identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across DACH
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, product demonstrations, contract negotiation, and legal process management
- Leverage deep technical knowledge to articulate the value of AI21's solutions in various enterprise environments (on-premise, VPC, cloud-native deployments)
- Drive expansion within existing accounts by ensuring customers maximize the value of our solutions and identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities
- Collaborate closely with product and technical teams to provide market insights and influence product development
- Stay ahead of industry trends, particularly within AI and deep tech, to position AI21 as a thought leader in the space

AI21 Labs addresses a significant challenge in the realm of artificial intelligence by recognising the limitations of general-purpose language models (LLMs) in enterprise settings. In response to this problem, AI21 has introduced the AI21 Studio Platform, emphasising Task-Specific Models - optimised LLMs specifically designed to excel in distinct natural language processing (NLP) capabilities.
The architecture employed by AI21 integrates LLMs, external knowledge sources, and discrete reasoning to enrich the LLMs with knowledge and reasoning, contributing to a flexible architecture that incorporates multiple models. This innovative approach, alongside the company's development of LLMs for consumer application development, is what makes it stand out in the space.
