- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
- 7+ years of professional experience in machine learning engineering
- 4+ years experience in designing and implementing machine learning systems in production environments
- 4+ years experience in Python, with expertise in machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and others
- 4+ years experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and their machine learning services
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, including deep learning, reinforcement learning, and natural language processing
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with MLOps and CI/CD for machine learning
- Expertise in data processing and manipulation using tools like Spark or similar
What the job involves
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Machine Learning Engineer to contribute to the development and deployment of advanced machine learning solutions
- In this role, you will be a technical leader, driving key projects and providing expertise in the design and implementation of robust ML systems
- You will work on complex problems, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful AI-powered features
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning models and algorithms
- Contribute to the architectural design and implementation of scalable and robust ML systems
- Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights
- Evaluate and select appropriate machine learning techniques and tools for specific business problems
- Develop and maintain production-ready machine learning pipelines, ensuring high performance and reliability
- Mentor and guide junior machine learning engineers
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to define project requirements and deliver solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence, and apply them to relevant projects
- Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for machine learning development
- Present technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Design and implement model monitoring and retraining strategies
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to machine learning systems
