Who you are
- Bachelor's in Engineering, or other technical related discipline
- 7+ years of quality management experience within manufacturing, processing and engineering in beauty or CPG
- Six Sigma certification preferred
- Experience leading technical quality improvement initiatives within a FDA regulated facility
- Demonstrated ability to build and grow a team of product integrity professionals
- Experience in GMP/cGMP processes and documentation requirements
- Quality tool knowledge in data collection, process control
- Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
- Team player with strong interpersonal and executive communication skills
- Schedule to support domestic and international travel (up to 30%)
- Ability to multitask and adapt to a rapidly evolving product environment
What the job involves
- Glossier seeks an experienced Quality Compliance Senior Manager to promote awareness of applicable regulatory and Quality Management System (QMS) standards, identify gaps, and drive effective solutions to support product quality, efficacy, and safety
- This position requires proactive leadership to standardize, manage, and maintain controlled documents, records, and training
- This individual will also support the external audit program to meet corporate requirements and ensure commercial readiness with contracted manufacturers as appropriate
- This role will report directly to the Director of Product Quality and Technical Excellence
- Six Month Expectations:
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment and gap analysis to identify areas of compliance and potential areas of vulnerability to be MoCRA-compliant
- Develop the action plans to bridge any compliance gaps identified during internal and external assessments
- Continue the process of standardizing procedures and protocols to ensure consistent adherence to MoCRA regulations across all product quality processes and contract manufacturing sites
- Design and implement training programs for internal teams on key product quality processes and other quality standards
- Establish solid working connections with key internal stakeholders to guarantee all MoCRA preparedness actions are properly coordinated
- Create a structured feedback loop with various departments to continuously get insights about potential quality and compliance issues and address them proactively
- Establish and conduct mock system audits to ensure regulatory readiness
- Twelve+ Month Expectations:
- Executing routine and risk-based audits, monitoring quality activities, and implementing corrective actions when needed
- Staying updated with regulations, industry standards, and integrating Risk Management principles in compliance with FDA, MoCRA, ISO 22716, and other relevant GMP standards for cosmetics and beauty
- Provide oversight for documents, learning, training, and quality management systems
- Manage controlled documents, records, and site readiness for audits
- Provide quality and compliance support for product launches in new markets, ensuring all local regulatory requirements are met
- Leading the overall QA Training program including identifying the minimum baseline quality training requirements per role and conducting quality training as applicable
- Assess change controls to ensure changes impactful to commercialization and aftermarket are communicated and key documentation is maintained within regulatory guidelines
- Handling other duties as deemed necessary
