Who you are
- Have 4+ years’ experience in consulting, operations, product, VC, founder’s associate roles, or high-growth startups
- Are entrepreneurial — you see inefficiencies and instinctively want to fix them
- Are commercially minded — you’re as comfortable in Excel as you are in a pitch deck
- Have a sharp attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Are incredibly organised, proactive, and know how to work around chaos
- Are hungry to learn, grow, and take on more responsibility fast
- Are excited about tech, property, and building software that actually helps people
- Want to work directly with a founder and be trusted to own big things early
What the job involves
- 🎯Drive Strategic Sales
- Build and maintain sales pipeline and help set up high-value prospective client meetings for Hannah to close
- Join strategic sales calls and follow-ups — keep momentum moving
- Own the operational side of enterprise sales (proposals & coordination for high value clients)
- 💸 Oversee Core Business Ops
- Support company finances: payroll, contractor payments, basic accounting oversight to help keep the team on target
- Run internal operations to improve how the team functions — workflows, reporting, tools
- Create scalable internal processes that help us move faster and stay lean
- Keep the CEO and senior team organised, aligned, and unblocked
- Power the Fundraising Journey
- Support Hannah with materials and outreach for our Series A in early 2026
- Research investors, manage the fundraising pipeline, and help craft the narrative
- Build the data room, prepare key metrics, and help coordinate due diligence
- 🧠Act as a Strategic Partner
- Spot opportunities and weak points across the business — and act on them
- Lead high-priority projects that don’t yet have an owner
- Be a thought partner to the CEO — challenge ideas, unblock bottlenecks, keep the big picture in mind

Salary benchmarks
Our take
First-time student renters are in a vulnerable position. Finding available properties can be tricky, and with little experience or authority students all too often end up tied to unscrupulous landlords and poorly maintained flats. It’s created a substantial trust issue, and HYBR is a new and buzzy real estate marketplace looking to solve this.
On the one hand HYBR provides students access to accommodation from reputable landlords in their city, as well as support from the HYBR team with admin challenges. On the other, landlords can access a more flexible and affordable leasing plan than those typically offered by traditional letting agents. A win-win in theory, and in practice HYBR has received resoundingly positive customer feedback from both sides of the equation.
The platform launched relatively recently, but is currently live already across 8 UK cities, with a focus on Bristol. It will need to bulk out property numbers in major rental hotspots like London as it grows, but with the kind of nationwide attention it’s already attracting, HYBR has the potential to scale rapidly.
