Who you are

Proven experience leading and scaling high-performing sales teams
Track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets and onboarding key accounts
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to assess profitability and negotiate deals
Excellent communication and presentation skills for both internal and external stakeholders
Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability and a growth mindset
Experience working with CRM systems (Hubspot or similar) and commercial tools
Ability to collaborate across multiple departments and influence decision-making

What the job involves

We are looking for a Sales Director to lead HIVED’s commercial growth by managing a high-performing sales team, driving revenue, and onboarding new shippers
You’ll work closely with internal teams, including Commercial Strategy, Marketing, Tech, Operations, and Finance, to define processes, assign territories and targets, and ensure the team has everything needed to win
This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, directly impacting HIVED’s growth trajectory
Lead, manage, and coach the sales team to consistently meet and exceed revenue targets
Own the pipeline, deal progression, and customer relationships from outreach to closure
Ensure the profitability and long-term success of every deal
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide tools, processes, and insights for sales enablement
Partner with Commercial Strategy to document and optimise repeatable sales processes
Work with Marketing to align lead generation and outbound campaigns
Design the sales organisation, including role levels, territories, and targets

Our take

Parcel delivery currently relies on fossil-fuel powered vans for the most part — and they pollute the air we breathe, emit large amounts of CO₂ and congest our cities. At the same time, customer service is notoriously poor, unethical business practices are rampant, and the technology is outdated. HIVED offers an alternative: 100% electric delivery, cutting emissions by up to 76%.

The company's technology is so efficient, it can match – or sometimes even be cheaper – than the current high-emission carriers. HIVED has fundamentally set itself apart from larger competitors by cutting their emissions by 76%, which will be a significant advantage as the UK is witnessing a green economic boom in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

The industry's expansion grew to $141.05 bn globally in 2025, which will undoubtedly be underpinned by a push towards sustainability. HIVED is well-positioned to capitalise on this, particularly if it can maintain its current high standards off the back of its impressive 2025 Series B investment round.
