  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred

What the job involves

  • As an Account Executive, you’ll play a key role in building and maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring the successful execution of advertising campaigns. You’ll collaborate across internal teams, external partners, and clients to deliver high-quality work that aligns with strategic objectives. Your ability to communicate effectively, stay organized, and think proactively will contribute to the success of both our agency and the brands we serve
  • Serve as a dedicated support partner on assigned accounts, fostering strong client relationships and ensuring objectives are met
  • Collaborate across internal teams to develop and execute innovative, high-impact advertising strategies
  • Manage clear, concise, and effective communication across all channels—written, virtual, and in-person—both internally and externally
  • Cultivate relationships with inter-agency partners to ensure seamless collaboration and execution of client initiatives
  • Oversee the development of presentation materials, ensuring they align with client expectations and uphold the agency’s standards of excellence
  • Provide proactive recommendations and strategic insights to support both clients and Business Leads in decision-making
  • Stay informed on client industries, competitive landscapes, market trends, and audience behaviors to drive relevant and informed contributions
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client communications, action items, and budget expenditures
  • Deliver timely updates on account performance and project status to internal teams, partner agencies, and client stakeholders
  • Support the Business Lead in financial management, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of budgets and expenditures
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment that values creativity, strategic thinking, and client satisfaction

Our take

Music distribution services provide ways for musical artists to release their music in both digital and physical formats. However, musicians usually don't retain the often lucrative rights to audio masters and audience insights, and merchandising and concert tickets must be organised elsewhere.

UnitedMasters is a music distribution service that acts as a direct pipeline for musicians and their commercial efforts. The service allows users to retain the rights to audio masters and audience data, in addition to providing a platform for the sale of merchandise and concert tickets. The startup’s aim is to give artists full control over the monetisation of their music based on a regular subscription cost.

UnitedMasters has raised a large amount of funding from investors such as Apple, a16z and Alphabet, and has partnered with companies such as Bose, TikTok, and Twitch. These partnerships along with continued innovation make it possible for artists to access large record deals through their music, a feature not offered by many other music distribution services.
