Who you are
- 3+ years of professional experience in sales
- Solid background in the logistics industry
- Proven experience selling logistics and/or SaaS solutions to large corporations
- A successful track record of exceeding quotas and receiving positive customer feedback
- Language Requirements: Proficiency in German (C1/C2) and fluency in English are mandatory
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher educational level
- Hunter & Farmer Mentality: You possess the drive to hunt for new opportunities while having the nurturing touch required to grow revenue with key accounts
- Relationship Builder: The ability to connect quickly with new people, build rapport, and establish trust easily
- Conceptual Thinker: Ability to work conceptually and translate complex customer requirements into feasible implementation plans

What the job involves
- Platform Science is seeking a Sales Manager (m/w/d) to support logistics companies in their digital transformation journey across the DACH region
- In this role, you will listen to our customers, identify their requirements, and support them in bridging the gap between manual transport processes and digital worlds
- You will be responsible for identifying needs, creating tailor-made offers, and guiding companies through the entire sales process to optimize transparency and automation. This is a remote position based in Germany
- Relationship Management: Manage and expand existing and new business relationships within a defined customer base in the DACH region
- Revenue Growth: Secure existing sales and drive growth through strategic cross-selling and upselling activities
- Pipeline Management: Actively manage and expand your sales pipeline while maintaining accurate progress reports in the CRM system
- Customer Responsiveness: Receive and respond to inquiries from interested parties and customers, ensuring their specific needs are met with high-quality solutions
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal teams to architect the best possible solutions for your clients

Trucks of the future will require additional solutions for software management, driver displays, and network connectivity. Despite this, an integrated solution for all of these features is currently missing from the market.

Its upward trajectory is set to continue after being awarded $125 million in Growth Capital in 2024, which will accelerate its innovations in the trucking software sector.
