What the job involves

Our Operations team is dedicated to delivering excellence from the time a customer places an order to the moment a customer opens their package
The team coordinates and executes day to day operations while maintaining strong relationships with our partners
As a team member, you will collaborate within a close-knit team, and learn every aspect of the business
Join our team of committed problem solvers who are passionate about ensuring that every Brilliant Earth purchase meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship
Receive product and enter product details into our internal system
Perform quality assurance checks on incoming and outgoing product
Review orders to ensure they are ready to ship to customers
Support customer care team via phone and email with any product-related escalations
Complete a high volume of data entry within a specified time frame, ensuring accuracy
Meet goals and targets as assigned by leadership
Collaborate with internal teams in a fast-paced, high volume work environment with a high attention to detail

Our take

Brilliant Earth has been working since 2005 to provide luxury, ethically sourced jewelry direct to consumers. The company specializes in diamonds from Canada, Botswana and Russia, and successfully went public in 2021.

Sourcing conflict-free gemstones is an increasing priority in jewelry purchasing, especially for Brilliant Earth’s predominantly Millennial and Gen Z customer base. Whilst these generations are more inclined towards eCommerce, high-end jewelry shoppers have proven resistant to shopping online, so Brilliant Earth may need to maintain its brick-and-mortar showrooms.

Scaling up their online presence, however, may help them net a good share of what continues to be a highly fragmented market. Much may depend on how far luxury jewelry customers are willing to make the digital switch in their purchasing habits, but with its IPO in 2021 gaining it wider recognition, Brilliant Earth has real opportunity moving forward.
