Who you are
- 2–4 years of experience in office or facilities operations, ideally within a high-growth or startup environment
- A systems thinker with a track record of building efficient, repeatable office workflows
- Excellent communication and project management skills; you’re able to keep multiple workstreams running smoothly and visibly
- Comfortable working independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Strong familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom
- Based in New York City and available to work in our NoHo office Monday through Friday
- Passionate about dogs
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a high-ownership, operations-minded Office Manager to oversee the infrastructure and daily functioning of our New York City headquarters
- This role is focused on creating operational efficiency—ensuring that our workplace is running smoothly, effectively supports our teams, and scales with our growth
- You’ll work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and collaborate with existing workplace and employee experience teammates to complement ongoing efforts
- Your focus will be on optimizing office logistics, strengthening vendor and facility relationships, and building durable systems to support an exceptional in-office experience
- Own the operational backbone of Fi’s NYC office—leading systems and processes for office maintenance, supplies, equipment, and logistics
- Serve as the primary liaison with building management and external vendors, ensuring high service levels and clear communication
- Optimize and document internal workflows that support office functionality—from procurement to maintenance requests
- Oversee vendor relationships for food and beverage programs, mail and deliveries, and essential office services
- Partner cross-functionally with People, IT, and Finance teams to support onboarding logistics, workspace planning, and physical security protocols
- Serve as a trusted, reliable point of contact for employees’ day-to-day workspace needs
Our take
For the last three decades, dog collars and leashes have remained largely unchanged. Fi was set up by a product team drawn from the ranks of Uber, Square, and Google to disrupt the stagnant dog collar space.
Fi's tracking collars have not only saved countless dogs' lives by providing real-time escape notifications, but they also enable dog owners to monitor their pets' health. Its health and sleep monitoring set it apart from rival products such as the Apple AirTag, whilst the development of a collar that administers topical medicine is also in the works. As Fi utilizes AT&T signal, it also boasts a tracking range that far exceeds that of its competitors.
The company saw a significant increase in value through its lucrative partnership with PetSmart. These sorts of partnerships and overall brand recognition will fuel the sort of expansion Fi aims to achieve.
