Who you are
- Bachelor’s Degree or comparable vocational training
- 2+ years of marketing experience (preferably in SaaS/B2B)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Native or proven C2 level of German
- Keen eye for details
- Excited about data with a mentality for testing and commitment to identifying avenues for growth
- Demonstrated project management, negotiations and problem solving skills
- Proven ability to work independently, juggle multiple priorities and complete responsibilities in a fast paced, change oriented environment
- Ability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Comfortable with task management tools such as Asana or JIRA
- Working knowledge of PowerPoint/Google Slides and Excel/Google Sheets
- Ability to come into the Berlin office 4 days a week
What the job involves
- The Junior Marketing Manager supports marketing efforts across all functions with a focus on event management, webinars and social media
- It will be one of your primary responsibilities to coordinate and execute our customer marketing activities, working closely with the Customer Success team
- You will also frequently cooperate with the operations, sales, and design teams to help build pipeline, drive revenue, increase brand awareness and trust, as well as improve customer retention
- Lead our customer marketing efforts and support the CS team with comms and assets as needed
- Lead planning, execution and reporting for events (in person and virtual), webinars and social media
- Create and publish new, SEO-optimized content on our website
- Audit and maintain Conductor’s internal German asset repository to ensure asset health
- Create, maintain, and optimize (automated) email cadences along the customer journey
- Create insightful reports on your campaign’s success and ROI and formulate learnings for future campaigns
- Translate, write, proofread and edit German copy for newsletters, emails, sales cadences and other marketing content

The internet is increasingly becoming a walled garden, with content and vital market intelligence hidden away on social media sites, gaming environments and apps. And with increasing regulaion in the data protection space such as GDPR, it can be harder for marketing teams to gain insight into what potential customers exist, and what they want.
Conductor exists to change that. Taking advantage of the power of search ("No one ever lies to a search engine", in the words of the company's CEO and co-founder), it utilises data from search traffic to help marketing teams build more effective campaigns. Able to help optimize search results, track keyword rankings and measure performance, it has led to doubling the rate of conversions and site traffic among its customer base, which includes the likes of Citibank, athenahealth and Canon.
With a record of substantial funding and growing revenue from its customer base, Conductor is continuing to invest in its technology, making strategic acquisitions to help it expand. For instance its acquisition of ContentKing allowed it to add real-time website auditing and monitoring to its platform, and its 2023 acquisition of Searchmetrics is aimed at accelerating its growth in Europe. As the SEO space enters a period of consolodation it seems that Conductor is well positioned to remain at the top of the search results.
