Role
Who you are
- This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in financial modeling, data analysis, and process optimization, having worked with high-growth B2B SaaS companies
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, private equity, or similar roles, preferably in a SaaS or technology company
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a track record of influencing senior management
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, FP&A software, and data visualization tools
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and manage multiple priorities
What the job involves
- As a Director, FP&A, you’ll drive financial planning, analysis, and strategy that ensures the delivery of timely, accurate, relevant and proactively persuasive insights
- The ideal candidate will proactively identify opportunities for financial improvement, manage budgeting and forecasting processes, support fundraising efforts, and provide actionable insights to senior management
- You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to ensure financial goals align with our overall business strategy
- Uplevel business awareness, financial acumen and actionability of key drivers of performance
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making balancing historic trends with future trajectory based upon business and market dynamics
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations on financial performance and business strategy
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes, ensuring alignment with company goals
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Support fundraising efforts, including preparation of financial materials and investor presentations
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards to track business performance
- Drive process improvements and implement best practices in financial planning and analysis with an eye towards scalability and automation
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accuracy of financial reporting and commissions processes
