Role
Who you are
- A minimum of 1 year working in an SDR / BDR position
- Cybersecurity or SaaS experience (Cybersec preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, being able to articulately communicate Risk Ledger’s value proposition to key stakeholders and effectively report campaign feedback back to the team
- Experience and be comfortable cold calling/emailing to grow your sales pipeline
- A highly proactive self starter mindset, target driven and thrive off a competitive environment with the autonomy to test out your own campaigns in new regions no one else is working
- A love for problem solving; thinking laterally to find innovative ways of generating interest from prospects
- A positive attitude and ability to listen to feedback to drive your own performance

What the job involves
- You’ll be joining a tight-knit team of SDRs with a very specific role just for you: Our sales strategy requires a high-performing individual to work closely with the SDR Manager, focusing on both our core ICP communities and experimental markets
- This role will involve a balanced approach, where you’ll engage with established verticals in our key sectors, while also exploring innovative markets and new opportunities
- Primarily focusing on the UK, you’ll be instrumental in driving short, medium, and long-term revenue growth for the business. Success in this role will open up a range of exciting opportunities for you and your future at Risk Ledger
- Be responsible for both supporting the team on delivering pipeline in our core community account lists, where we have strong traction already, while also playing a part in driving our growth strategy in test regions: sourcing, qualifying and nurturing prospects at the top of the sales funnel. This will be achieved through several channels including cold calling, emailing and LinkedIn
- Have the autonomy to build and execute on campaign plans for these verticals, with the support of the SDR Manager and the marketing team
- Consistently tracking and feeding back on the success of these regions, ready to pivot if needed or expand on areas of success identified
- Conduct full discovery calls in order to qualify opportunities for the Account Executives
- Attend events to meet with prospective clients to generate opportunities for the business
- Track information in our CRM for you, the Account Executives and the Marketing department’s benefit

Through its platform, Risk Ledger is marking a turning point in the process of discovering, measuring and then mitigating security risks for companies, their clients and their suppliers. Risk Ledger is trying to lower the number of data breaches experienced by companies and consumers as a consequence of supply chain attacks on a global level.
According to research, over 60% of organisations have suffered a data breach originating in the supply chain with fines inevitably following. Mainstream risk assurance methods are no longer be able to effectively detect and mitigate the growing risk associated with more complex and more global supply chains. SMEs are also generally less resilient to security attacks than multinational corporations due to smaller budgets and teams; over 50,000 SMEs in the UK could collapse after a successful cyber attack.
Risk Ledger has helped customers collect supplier data up to 70% faster than before and reduced per-supplier costs by up to 90%. Its challenge now is to provide integrations with different tools and, by doing so, turn Risk Ledger into a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solution.
