Role
Who you are
- A minimum of 3+ years of Tier 2 Workstation and End User support
- Strong practical experience supporting Linux/Unix users and/or Developers
- Experience working in Linux environments with NVIDIA GPUs a plus
- Strong communication skills and willingness to pitch in as necessary to enable others to do their best work
What the job involves
- Plus is looking for an experienced IT End User Support Specialist, Senior IT Help Desk Analyst, or Tier 2 Support Engineer to join our team as an IT Support Engineer supporting our enterprise users
- As an IT Support Engineer at Plus, you will be providing IT services and support to a diverse team that is working to build the next generation of autonomous driving solutions
- You will be providing solutions across the entire scope of IT services including end user, workstation, server, cloud, and application support
- Provide enterprise service and support using IT Service Management best practices
- Provide advanced IT support for end users including Linux, MacOS, and Windows systems
- Maintain up to date inventory of hardware and software assets deployed
- Facilities support including alarm systems, access control, and AV equipment
- Develop and expand internal and user documentation for IT owned systems and applications

With self-driving vehicles becoming more common, the tuck shipping industry stands to benefit from autonomous driving technology, particularly given the current shortage of drives in the US.
Plus provides self-driving technology for trucks to make fleets safer, more fuel-efficient, and sustainable. It uses machine learning to analyze routes and scenarios, providing real-time data to trucks equipped with the PlusDrive system. Unlike competitors focusing on urban transportation, Plus is tackling long-distance logistics, though regulatory challenges in the US remain a concern.
Currently, Plus offers a system that enhances driver safety and efficiency, while continuing to develop fully autonomous solutions. Following a successful pilot with IVECO, Plus is testing its automated trucks on German roads and plans to expand into European markets.
