Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree, or in lieu of a degree, an additional 4+ years of work experience with program management in operations, strategy, and planning
- At least 7+ years of experience in operations, management consulting, strategy, vendor management, or relevant outsourcing engagements
- Experience driving complex projects
- Change management experience in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Strategy, project management and data analysis experience
- Ability to travel 10-25% as business demands
Desirable
- Masters or MBA degree
- 8+ years of experience in operations, management consulting, strategy, vendor management, or relevant outsourcing engagements
- Ability to work with and align executive partners across a diverse geographic and functional landscape
- Certification in Lean (Six Sigma Belt or similar), or Project Management (PMP or similar)
What the job involves
- You will report to the Head of Fleet Response
- Develop standard operating and change management processes
- Liaison with teams to ensure the right processes and escalation paths are in place
- Lead the change management and communications strategy for complex business-driven vendor operations programs, assessing the needs of the project, developing and getting agreement, implementing plans, and tracking effectiveness
- Work with partners to ensure the successful evolution and execution of Waymo programs
- Work on a revolving set of high impact priorities and projects
- Contribute to programs by developing and realizing overall operations strategy, defining scope of work, understanding requirements, implementing new processes, and contributing to ongoing operational process improvements
- Lead regular internal business reviews and partner with cross-functional teams both locally and globally to improve against topline metrics
