Corporate Strategy Manager, Splunk

• Pre or post-graduate experience in strategy, business operations in a technology company, or top-tier consulting firm / corporate strategy field with strong exposure to technology
• Experience driving large initiatives from framing the problem, conducting research / analysis to building the business and operational plans through to driving execution to success is required
• Strong written / verbal communications to work with senior executives across various geographies and functions; comfort in business and technical discussions
• Possess a solid understanding of high-tech industry, with demonstrated ability to ramp up quickly in new areas
• Strong data handling and financial skills to work on sophisticated business issues with minimum supervision
• Self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative high-growth environment

Desirable

• Drive projects that identify and explore new technologies and business models to extend Cisco's and Splunk’s technology leadership and customer relevance, then lead the decision-making, execution and investments to make those opportunities a reality
• Work closely with Cisco and Splunk business units and cross-functional leadership to formulate long-term strategic priorities and plans related to e.g., organic and inorganic growth strategy, emerging industry trends, competitive dynamics, and internal business performance improvement
• Provide insights to the business through analytics and market research as required (e.g. market, customer, competitors)
• Work cross-functionally across external and internal collaborators, partnering closely with product, engineering, finance, sales, marketing and other teams
• Become an expert in Cisco's and Splunk’s business and have a deep understanding on the markets we serve and competitors we face
