Who you are

Strong experience in QA automation with a focus on data-driven applications
Proficiency in Python and Selenium for test automation
Hands-on experience testing charts, visualizations, and data reporting platforms
Solid understanding of big data analytics and data validation workflows
Knowledge of REST APIs and ability to validate API responses
Knowledge working with networking/security solutions desired
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, test management tools, and defect tracking systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, ElasticSearch, Kafka, etc.)
Knowledge of networking, SD-WAN, SASE, or security domains
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with performance testing and scalability validation

What the job involves

We are looking for a passionate Software Test Engineer to help our customer to build, maintain, and troubleshoot our Analytics Platform
Versa Analytics is a purpose-built analytics platform focused on SASE, SD-WAN, SD-Routing, SD-Security, and SD-Branch use cases
It is a rich, near real-time big data solution that enables visibility, control, baselining, correlation, prediction, and feedback loops across Versa solutions
Versa Analytics provides both real-time and historical insights with detailed reports on usage metrics, performance trends, security events, and alerts
By analyzing large volumes of data sent from Versa Operating System™ (VOSTM), it transforms critical data points into actionable insights
Tight native integration with VOSTM ensures optimized data storage, search, and performance
Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases for Versa Analytics
Build robust test automation frameworks using Python and Selenium
Automate verification of graphs, charts, and dashboards within the analytics platform
Validate that data ingestion pipelines are functioning correctly and analytics are accurately presented to end users
Perform regression, functional, and system-level testing to ensure product quality
Collaborate closely with product management, development, and DevOps teams to define test strategies and improve overall product reliability
Contribute to continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipelines with automated quality gates

Our take

The secure access service edge (SASE) is composed of a complex group of networking and cloud software tools like software-defined wide area networks (SD-WAN), secure web gateways (SWG), and firewall-as-a-service. SASE itself functions to better deliver cybersecurity tech, and as such it’s big business right now. Versa Networks is capitalizing on this, with its in-cloud and on-premise flexible SASE solutions.

While the company faces competition against SASE rivals such as Juniper Networks (where the founders left to kick off Versa Networks), and major players like Cisco and Cloudflare. Startups are pulling in hefty funding, too: Cato Networks is a Unicorn twice over, and Netskope is valued at nearly fourfold that. Add to that the current SASE market is set to grow from its 2021 $3 billion valuation to $6 billion by 2028.

This should come as no surprise. SASE sits at the juncture of the lucrative and high-growth sectors of cloud computing, cybersecurity, and networking, and is expected to have a sweeping addressable market as more businesses pivot onto the cloud. Versa Networks is set to hold its own against well-funded startups and acquisitive enterprises, recently completing a "pre-IPO" fundraise of $120 million, the company has positioned itself to deepen its hold on its slice of the market.
