Who you are
- Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team responsible for various transactional activities in the Sales, Purchase and Bank ledgers. Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance management to team members, as the data that is being processed impacts all areas of the business.
- Ledger Management: Oversee day-to-day transactional finance operations, including accounts payable (AP), cash management (CM) and accounts receivable (AR). Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, credit notes, and payments.
- Finance Operations: Support the management of customer credit terms and collections of receivables, including proactive review of aged receivables and appropriate dunning procedures. Support the in management of supplier relationships, including payment terms, query resolution, and reduction in supplier base.
- Direct Debits: Review Direct Debit arrangements on a quarterly basis.
- Purchase Orders: Review and cleanse Purchase Orders monthly.
- Expense system: Maintain categories, users’ profiles, and tags in Expensify.
- Month End: Manage the month end process for transactional services ensuring accuracy and timely, meaningful financial reporting information is provided.
- Reconciliation: Oversee regular reconciliations, including supplier statements, bank, and customer ledger.
- Analytical review of specific general ledger to assist with month end accruals for supplier invoices.
- Profit Share: Matching Supplier invoices against the Profit Share accrual.
- Maintaining detailed records of Landlord/Agent reconciliations.
- Dead Site Recovery: Maintaining detailed reports on dead sites and the recovery of funds against these sites.
- DNO Recovery: Maintaining detailed reports on dead sites and the recovery of funds against these sites.
- Revenue Reconciliation: Weekly reconciliation of contactless revenue and monthly reconciliations of partner transactions.
- Process improvement and operational excellence: Continue to deliver improvements in processing speed and quality to ensure the highest possible accuracy and timeliness of financial information.
- Controls and data security: Ensure continuous adherence to relevant controls and maintain safeguards around data security and privacy.
- Drives a culture of continuous improvement across Finance Operations.
