Role
What the job involves
- As Chief of Staff at Tech Against Terrorism, you serve as a key strategic partner to the Executive Director whilst providing oversight of all organisational functions.
- You lead oncross-functional initiatives and ensure operational excellence across all teams, projects and deliverables
- Strategic Leadership & Executive Partnership
- Partner with Executive Director on organisational vision and strategy
- Drive strategic initiatives, change management and organisational development
- Manage high-level stakeholder relationships alongside the Executive Director
- Execute strategic and high-priority projects
- Act as central point of contact in the organisation for the Executive Director, ensuring effective communication across the team and appropriate escalation and resolution of any blockers and issues that arise
- Team Leadership and Management
- Line management of Head of Intelligence, Operations Manager, Policy and Compliance Manager, Senior Intelligence and Engagement Analyst, and Project Support Officer Oversight
- Coordination of senior management processes, such as weekly meeting agendas, strategic and operational planning, and resourcing and forecasting
- Oversee and lead on the implementation of cross-functional team projects, including external communications initiatives
- Leading on internal communications, change management and organisational planning
- Project & Product Leadership
- Develop and oversee our technical roadmap in collaboration with the Head of Intelligence and Executive Director
- Collaborate closely with the supplier Product Lead on TAT’s customer account management, cross-functional customer onboarding, and customer success processes
- Grants and Contract Management
- Direction and oversight of grant lifecycle management and contract management:
- Leading on funding and grant applications in collaboration with the team Overseeing and ensuring timely and accurate narrative and financial reporting in collaboration with the team and Operations Manager
- Driving cross-departmental implementation of contract and grant deliverables
- Oversight of funding requests, invoicing, contract execution and accounts
- Receivable tracking

(Co-Founder & CEO)With Master's degrees from Oxford and KCL, Adam divides their time between running QuantSpark and Tech Against Terrorism- the world's preeminent NGO helping to tackle terrorists' use of the internet.
People progressing
Anastasia is the Head of People and Operations. Anastasia joined the business as EA to Adam, the CEO, and quickly built out a department of her own which continues to expand.
Sophie joined the team in 2021 as a Senior Product Manager. They were quickly promoted to Product Lead and again to Head of Product.
Daniel joined as a Data Analyst in 2019 and now leads the Analytics Engineering Team and is an integral part of the business.
