Role
Who you are
- 4+ years of experience managing production Linux systems
- Experience managing Cloud Infrastructure on AWS (EC2, ELBs, S3)
- Experience with containers using Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment
- Experience designing scalable cloud solutions
- Experience in configuration management tools (SaltStack,Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Fabric, etc)
- Experience managing and debugging high-volume web deployments (nginx, node.js, JVM, etc)
- Worked with logging and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, ELK
- Experience developing automation tools in python, bash, golang
- Experience deploying and running third party open source databases, like ElasticSearch, Postgres, and Redis
Desirable
- Experience in running private DNS infrastructure
- Experience in network planning, design and implementation
- Familiarity with Big Data and data pipeline management
What the job involves
- Our engineering team builds highly scalable systems to handle 23 billion transactions per day on multiple Kubernetes clusters with ~250 nodes each
- Manage operations of Branch infrastructure
- Ensure production systems and traffic maintains high uptime SLAs
- Provide on call support to debug and resolve production issues
- Work with the Engineering team to manage deployments, upgrades
- Work with Security team to enhance platform & infrastructure security
- Manage capacity and growth of systems and processes
- Deploy monitoring and alerts
- Work with developers to architect and define infrastructure requirements

Providing a unified mobile experience to users can be difficult and expensive for many companies. Branch solves this problem with its linking and attribution platform, allowing companies to gain, track and keep mobile app users.
When it first launched, Branch focused solely on delivering a comprehensive multi-platform linking solution that takes consumers to their relevant destination. Since then, its solution has expanded, and now offers increased user engagement and holistic marketing measurements. This has allowed the company to scale its user base, and to grow its existing relationships. Branch now serves over 100,000 apps and boasts more than three billion monthly users. Its impressive client list includes Airbnb, NBC and Adobe.
Branch raised a further $300 million in funding in early 2022, pushing its valuation to $4 billion. The company intends to use that money to invest further in its mobile linking program and other products. This will ensure that Branch remains a key player in the mobile marketing space, despite alleged attempts by Google to block its software on Android smartphones, due to apparent conflicts with Branch's mobile experience tools. Branch's friction with Google however, only goes to show how it is disrupting the monopoly Google has over mobile experiences.
