Who you are
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in growth-focused roles
- Proven track record of successfully driving growth and optimizing key business metrics
- Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, preferably at a SaaS company
- A strong intuition for product design and user experience
- Significant customer research, user testing, and/or product analytics experience and expertise
- You are a clear communicator who can create simple explanations of complex concepts
- You are curious but skeptical, and don’t settle for the first explanation offered to you
- You’re a critical thinker who doesn’t settle for the status-quo
- You’re obsessed with providing a world class user experience

- You have experience with SQL, Segment, Amplitude and creating/maintaining event tracking schemas
What the job involves
- Roofr is looking for a Head of Product Growth to join our highly collaborative, dynamic, and driven Growth team
- They’ll have the opportunity to bring their own unique background in customer acquisition, monetization, and retention to the group
- This Lead will work to accelerate revenue and revenue velocity by leading the development of all growth initiatives resulting in sustainable customer conversion and expansion
- As the Head of Product Growth, you will report into the SVP of Product and be an instrumental part in helping us create the most trusted roofing platform in the industry
- We pride ourselves in being at the forefront of the market and we strive to deliver innovative and intuitive products - always keeping customer experience in mind
- Own Roofr’s conversion, monetization, and expansion product strategy and roadmap
- Partner deeply with Growth Marketing and PDE (Product, Design, Engineering) teams to develop end-to-end hypotheses, proof points, experiments, and (ultimately) solutions to increase revenue, efficiency, and delight your customers as they grow with Roofr
- Ideate, build and launch product features/initiatives to grow our revenue and accelerate revenue velocity
- Partner with go-to-market teams to win new accounts, drive feature adoption, reduce churn, and expand customer subscriptions to grow the customer base
- Deliver delightful and relevant consumer experiences that help roofers discover new solutions and get the most out of the Roofr platform
Our take
Roofing is one of those manual industries that’s been around forever, and can sometimes feel like it still exists in a completely pre-digital age. But Roofr’s on a mission to change that, with its software platform designed to modernize the industry.
One of its main selling points is that it offers roofers the ability to give instant estimates. It works with companies like Nearmap, whose low-altitude planes take high resolution photos for mapping, and provides roofing companies with high-quality imagery of the roof to be able to give an estimate without a site visit - easier for the company and customer.
There are a few other start-ups aiming at reinvented the roofing industry, with competitors like Roofer Pro and Acculynx offering similar aerial measurement technology. But roofing is a $40 billion-a-year industry, and Roofr is one of the leaders of its revolution and in September 2022 received $12 million in Series A investment. This funding will be used to further strengthen its platform.
