Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, including at least 1 year of hands-on experience in CRM, email marketing or campaign management
- Experience with customer engagement platforms like Braze, Customer.io, Klaviyo, or Mailchimp
- Excellent writing skills with a talent for simplifying complex concepts
- Curious, proactive, creative—and comfortable owning your projects
- Native Dutch and fluent English is required
- Bonus: Experience in energy, tech, or fast-growing scale-ups — but mindset > CV
What the job involves
- As CRM Specialist (m/f/d) for the Netherlands, you’ll turn clicks into connections
- Your mission? To create customer communication that drives activation, retention, and real excitement
- You’ll be the creative force behind our newsletters and customer campaigns that make people care—and take action
- You’ll join the NL country team, reporting to the Marketing Manager and you’ll have a dotted line to the global Head of CRM
- You’ll also collaborate closely with our product, ecom, and marketing teams across Europe to bring Tibber’s voice, vision, and value to life
- Own and evolve our newsletters: Combine energy news, product updates, and relevant ecom highlights into one scroll-stopping experience
- Launch creative campaigns across email, in-app, and push—like energy deals, ecom promos, or big feature launches
- Personalize our customer communication: Use segmentation and Liquid logic to ensure the right message reaches the right person at the right time
- Localize automated journeys: Adapt key lifecycle flows to drive activations and reduce churn in your local market
- Test and iterate: Monitor performance, kill what doesn’t work, and scale what does
- Collaborate cross-functionally to keep our communications sharp, on-brand and effective
- Track results: Monitor engagement KPIs and translate insights into actionable improvements for content and strategy

Our take
The average household today is in a position to purchase electricity from a range of suppliers, but classically will only buy from one. Tibber supplies an AI for households to purchase energy from a number of suppliers, at the best prices at the best time of day, to reduce their electricity costs, alongside helping them to reduce usage in their homes.
The platform was built as a response to outdated utility management tools. Users access the service via an app, with the AI purchasing electricity automatically at the lowest possible price, as well as alerting customers to consume energy during the cheapest hours of the day.
The Tibber hub for smart homes is able to connect various energy sources, such as solar panels and EV chargers, to enable more intelligent electricity production as well as consumption. The company has seen huge amounts of investment, serves hundreds of thousands of households, and has its sights set on continued expansion across Europe.
