Who you are
- Experience being a key contributor or running an enterprise product through channel strategy
- Experience as a member of a technologies Business Development team with SaaS based revenue model
- Strong presentation, sales, and negotiation skills; ability to close high value and high profile deals
- Proven ability to prospect, recruit, and manage executive level relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with emerging technologies, especially networking
- Ability to manage high priority projects
- Ability to travel up to 35%

- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, innovative, and rapidly evolving industry and business organization
- Comfort working with a broad range of technology tools including Google Suite, Excel, Slack, and Salesforce.com
- SAAS experience a plus

What the job involves
- In this role you will be responsible for growing the business by creating new partnerships and leveraging existing relationships, to enable distribution of our products and services.
- In many cases, you may be establishing a new relationship between Amazon and the customer, which requires strong sales and self-initiating skills, and the ability to engage C-level executives. Within this role, you will be expected to develop sales strategies and lead the full sales cycle from initial prospecting to contract signature
- Opens new distribution channels for our products and services
- Oversees large or more complex relationships that are considered business critical with significant bottom-line impact
- Leads negotiations, working closely with legal, finance, and other cross functional teams. Operates with minimal direction from eero’s business development leadership
- Deal leader who represents our business interests and regularly interacts with senior management and executives internally and at potential partners
- This a role that serves a combination of strategy and execution daily. The candidate will be an individual contributor with advanced ability to move fast, collaborating with product, marketing, finance, legal, and technology teams to drive deals to close
- Eero's Business Development team has responsibility to drive eero device and services revenue globally through various channels. Reporting the the company President, the eero BD team is a high performing team who works to find creative ways to support customers, get deals done, and innovate

Amazon is the world's largest online retailer, and is well-known for its disruption of well-established industries. The company is present in numerous verticals, including cloud computing with Amazon Web Services, AI with its range of Alexa devices and a global marketplace more commonly referred to as 'the everything store'. Acquisitions include Ring, Twitch, Whole Foods Market, and IMDb.
More recently, Amazon has been focused on leading the "third wave in digital advertising". Many businesses are now shifting ad dollars to retailers, which before would have been spent with online media platforms. Amazon's seen great success in the space, with its revenue from advertising now higher than its Amazon Prime membership scheme, audiobooks and digital music combined. This growth is particularly impressive considering its digital ad rivals (like Snap, Alphabet, and Meta) have suffered declines due to wider macroeconomic factors and Apple's iOS privacy changes.
Despite its dominant market position, Amazon will continue to be challenged over the next decade, including sustaining AWS's cloud dominance in the face of Google and Microsoft. On top of this, the company's e-commerce division is facing profitability problems despite its 2023 post-IPO debt funding of 8 billion. It will need to find new ways to stay above their competitors.
