• 5+ years of experience in marketing, ecommerce marketing, business or related
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience using Drip or other ESPs
• Ability to prioritize competing demands, and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Demonstrated success developing and driving email marketing strategies with hands-on experience and a proven track record of managing all aspects of email marketing campaigns from creation to delivery
• Knowledgeable about email deliverability as well as CAN-SPAM and GDPR compliance

• Reporting to the Director of Buyer Marketing, the Email Marketing Manager will be responsible for engaging the hobbyist community with relevant products, articles and offers for the trading card games they love
• You will be responsible for developing and driving our email marketing strategy ensuring the right content is shown to the right customer at the right time
• As the Email Marketing manager you will be responsible for all email marketing including segmentation, deliverability, frequency, automation, merchandising and more
• You will also be responsible for developing automated email campaigns aimed at providing a more personalized merchandising experience
• You will be a key partner in our ongoing email marketing efforts and will work cross functionally with Marketing, Merchandising, Content, Creative Services, Product and Customer Experience to build a best-in-class user experience demonstrating email marketing
• Develop and implement our email marketing strategy, including segmentation, targeting, messaging and merchandising
• Manage and grow our email marketing database with a focus on quality and compliance
• Create and implement email campaigns, including newsletters, promotions, and automated campaigns
• Optimize email performance through A/B testing of subject lines, content, and calls to action
• Monitor email deliverability and compliance with CAN-SPAM and GDPR regulations
• Conduct ongoing analysis of email performance and provide actionable recommendations to improve results
• Report on performance metrics via weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, content, product) to ensure alignment on email marketing initiatives
• Stay up to date on email marketing trends and standard processes to inform strategy and execution
• Develop and oversee the email marketing budget, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting
• Lead the strategy and execution of advanced email campaigns such as triggered, personalization, and marketing automation
• Collaborate with other departments, such as CRM, ecommerce, and customer service, to ensure email campaigns are aligned with company objectives and messaging
• Drive development and execution of email testing roadmaps and scalable strategies to continuously improve email performance
• Use customer data to find opportunities for segmentation, personalization, and targeted marketing campaigns
• Inform larger marketing strategy with insights and data-driven recommendations from email campaigns
• Participate in industry conferences and networking events to stay current with the latest email marketing trends and standard processes
• Document cases for the development of features and functionality that support acquisition and engagement programs
• Contribute to developing new processes to improve current workflows and drive strategic business and customer growth
• Provide recommendations on how to improve outreach, engagement, and conversion
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement and test technical integrations in support of growing email marketing capabilities
