What the job involves
- We are currently seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our Product Marketing team in Burnaby, Toronto or Calgary, or remotely in Canada
- As Senior Product Marketing Manager, your work will have an immediate and meaningful impact and you will be supported along your career journey to take chances and grow into the professional you desire to be
- You will be surrounded by a talented group of high-performing product marketers, seasoned in SaaS and driven by collective success. Together, you will set the bar for best-in-class marketing practices and use them to maintain our position as the leader in legaltech
- You lead the go-to-market (GTM) and product adoption efforts for your product portfolio. This includes positioning and messaging, new feature launches, adoption and retention, internal team enablement, customer and prospect lifecycle initiatives, and other programs that help empower our customers to be successful
- Partnering with your product team counterparts to develop strategies that successfully bring features and product enhancements to market
- Enabling sales, marketing, support, customer success, and other internal teams to tell a compelling story about our product benefits
- Creating stand-out product messaging, campaigns, and strategies that differentiate Clio in the marketplace
- Building and executing tactical marketing plans that increase product and feature adoption and support retention
- Speaking to and with our customers to gain new perspective and feedback on our products
- Collaborating with data insights, strategic research, customer marketing, competitive intelligence, and other cross-functional teams to develop market research
- Building experiments, testing theories, and sharing learnings with cross-functional teams
- Using data, customer feedback, prospect understanding, and market/competitive intelligence to fuel the creation, testing, and implementation of initiatives for your product line
- Tracking and reporting on marketing performance and KPIs while maintaining intimate understanding of product-line performance metrics

Our take
Modern law firms increasingly manage their work digitally but the lack of a specialised remote solution means that workflows have become fragmented. This leads to legal practice managers having to juggle multiple software solutions across various devices.
Clio provides a legal practice management platform designed for law firms, allowing users to manage billing for legal aid cases, access and manage documents and store files across multiple devices. Whilst other startups are operating in this niche, Clio has uniquely focussed on synchronisation across remote devices and on a wide range of integrations, allowing the user to access information from other industry standard software such as Xero and Klyant from within a single interface.
Clio has raised a large amount of investment capital and benefited from the COVID-era move to cloud technologies. Most recently, it raised a 2024 Series F round, which saw the company attain a valuation exceeding $3 billion. This funding is being used to accelerate AI development and to allow existing investors and employees to cash out their shares.
