Who you are
- Our ideal candidate is a talented writer and strategic thinker who is eager to roll up their sleeves, bring fresh ideas to the table, and deliver their best work
- 2-3 years of experience writing for a B2B/B2C company or creative agency
- Inspiring portfolio that showcases your strategic approach to creating engaging content. Extra emphasis on samples of short, succinct copy that ladders up to a larger narrative
- Fantastic writing (American English), editing, and proofreading skills with an understanding of editorial style guides and design systems
- A performance mindset: you understand how copy supports engagement and adoption, and you strive for continual, iterative improvement
- Proficient with (or eager to learn) Figma, Zendesk, Confluence, Jira, Google Analytics, and in-app messaging tools like Appcues
- Adept at leveraging AI to optimize workflows, always looking for fresh ways to evolve brand standards
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage varied workloads and tight timelines across multiple time zones
- You thrive in fast-moving, collaborative environments and enjoy building together as a team
- High emotional intelligence. People enjoy working with you!

- In this role, you'll shape the future of release communications at Addepar, reimagining how clients learn about new products and solutions
- You’ll play a pivotal role in crafting language that ensures every client understands not only what’s new but why it matters to their success
- As a primary contributor to Addepar Learn—our personalized training and support program—you’ll write, edit, and manage content that bridges the gap between complex platform updates and seamless user adoption
- You’ll be a strategic partner to Product, Design, Marketing, and Services teams, becoming an expert on our roadmap to ensure we deliver the right message at the right time
- You’ll report to the Content Manager for Addepar Learn
- Craft clear, concise, and on-brand copy for various delivery channels, translating complex technical ideas into simple prose
- Develop and innovate on the language used to share product updates, ensuring a consistent and engaging voice across touchpoints
- Partner with cross-functional partners to clearly convey big-picture concepts in one or two sentences
- Independently develop and publish release notes to keep deliverables on schedule for regular sprint cycles
- Regularly update our platform roadmap messaging to align with our company vision and strategic plans
- Track and report on engagement metrics and user feedback to identify opportunities and strengthen how we write
- Leverage Gemini, Hemingway, and other AI and editing tools to streamline and scale content development
- Maintain, evolve, and apply Addepar’s content standards, ensuring all deliverables are polished and professional

Investment advisers require speed, clarity and flexibility when managing client portfolios. Addepar is a wealth management software platform created with these requirements in mind. The platform aggregates portfolio, market, and client data in one place, allowing financial professionals to analyse and visualise the data they need.
Addepar currently tracks around $6 trillion of assets serving over 800 clients, including individual advisers, family offices, and large institutions such as AllianceBernstein, Bartlett Wealth Management, and Morgan Stanley.
The multi-unicorn company has been pursuing global expansion, opening its first office outside of the United States in Scotland in 2021 and a new London office in late 2022. It appointed new leadership members from companies like Oracle and Amazon Web Services. A Series G investment in 2025 will further accelerate its momentum as it continues to innovate its suite of solutions.
