Role
Who you are
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, consulting, or other similar fields
- Exceptional analytical skills; high attention to detail with polished visual, written, and oral presentation skills - fluency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Showcases the ability to think both conceptually and practically; ability to toggle between strategy and execution, or move from the big picture to specific details seamlessly

What the job involves
- As the Business Development & Strategy Associate, you will apply thought leadership, analytical skills, and business judgment to create models and other materials to help define strategic priorities, deliver operational excellence, and foster innovation and growth for RapidSOS
- With a focus on business development and go-to-market strategy, you will play a key role in revenue growth by providing business development support to our largest accounts, as well as conducting analysis that will inform our GTM strategies
- You’ll excel in this role if you enjoy wearing multiple hats, have an analytical mindset, thrive at solving strategic and operational challenges, and are mission-driven with a low ego
- Assist in the creation of business development / account growth strategies by providing specific, actionable, and forward-looking insight and creating financial models or other relevant content
- Develop pricing strategies and structures for strategic accounts
- Directly interface with key enterprise customers in partnership with our Account Management team and support QBRs by creating models, decks, data analysis on usage trends for large strategic accounts of RapidSOS
- Develop and present materials which translate the learnings from research and analysis into an effective presentation and discussion materials for relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Identifying partners / vendors that can complete or enhance our solution and collaborating with Business Operations on the appropriate path forward
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various internal teams at RapidSOS including, Product, Sales, Account Management, and Business Operations
- Develop and execute processes for market & territory analysis, market & competitive intelligence, and customer win / loss analysis
- Drive continuous process improvement, including working cross-functionally, to create repeatable, consistent best practices that enable scale
- Provide ad hoc financial and operational modeling and business case analysis
Our take
Emergency response services currently act exclusively on information provided by phone calls. Callers are usually vulnerable and panicked, and this has a negative effect on the expression of important information to phone call receivers. In addition, America's 9-1-1 system was built for landline phones, making it nearly impossible to digitally send data to first responders.
RapidSOS builds tools that provide caller data to emergency services to help them assess situations and make decisions faster. The startup utilizes data from mobile devices, smart devices and security systems to gain valuable insights into users' location, medical history and more. This helps produce a general profile on a caller ID, providing valuable contextual information in emergency situations.
The company continues to release new features and products, such as the first AI co-pilot for 911, and an intelligent safety platform for emergency responders. Having surpassed 1 billion emergencies supported, the company has raised a further round of funding to support continued scaling and the advancement of its tech.
