- BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science - or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of experience in full-stack software development
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with AWS cloud
- Strong experience with modern JavaScript (promises, callbacks, functional programming etc)
- Strong experience with React, React Hooks, React Router, Redux, Next.js
- Strong experience with HTML/CSS, Tailwind CSS
- Understanding of front-end tooling (Babel, Webpack, NPM etc)
- Experience with testing (Jest, React Test Library, Cypress/WebDriver, etc)
- Strong experience in building REST APIs and micro services in Python
- Experience with SQL/No-SQL databases on AWS cloud
- Experience in CI/CD, and modern DevOps practices
- Experience building application governed under HIPAA, PHI and PII compliance requirements
- Prior experience in the Healthcare Industry is a plus
- AWS Developer Certification is a plus
What the job involves
- As a core member of our team, you will work with our engineers, data scientists, clinicians, and product managers to develop products that will directly affect the lives of patients.
- Your expert knowledge in developing software applications and APIs to provide great user experience will be crucial to our mission and the success of the company
- Design and develop front-end web applications for internal and external customers, written in languages such as React JavaScript framework, React Hooks, React Router, Redux, Next.js, HTML/CSS, and Tailwind CSS
- Design and develop elastic and resilient APIs and Web application in distributed serverless AWS cloud environment
- Design and develop back-end applications and micro services written in Python, and data access with SQL/No-SQL

Prealize attempts to do this through leveraging machine learning and clinical expertise to provide predictive health analytics to healthcare providers. Its services are rooted in the leading research of its two Stanford University academic founders.
The company is determined to expand its portfolio of products and services that can positively impact healthcare in a proactive way. Thus far, that has meant services as wide ranging as a consumer experience platform that invites patients to consider their health earlier to an underwriting platform for high-cost health insurance claimants.
The determinant of Prealize’s success will be its ability to translate its deeply sophisticated machine learning models into practical applications that can be seamlessly integrated into the existing workflows of healthcare stakeholders.
