Who you are
- We’re seeking someone who thrives at both thinking strategically and getting things done
- 3+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment at a high-growth, consumer-focused brand
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and drive them to completion
- Track record of building scalable, metrics-driven recruitment processes that incorporate continuous feedback and improvement
- Experience with compensation benchmarking and pay band research
What the job involves
- Blank Street is in search of a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead and innovate our recruiting efforts across the US
- In this role, you’ll own the end-to-end talent acquisition lifecycle for a growing brand, partnering closely with leaders across the business to hire exceptional talent for our stores and HQ team
- You’ll drive recruiting strategy, employer branding, and process improvement all while delivering an outstanding candidate experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This is a fully in-person role based at our Brooklyn, NY HQ, reporting to the Director of People

- Detail Oriented - Plans, prioritizes, and manages multiple tasks with precision and accuracy, ensuring high-quality outputs
- Support the execution of hiring top talent at HQ
- Partner with managers and own the job requisition process
- Own the candidate intake, screening, and coordination process
- Lead the execution of hiring an A barista and shift lead talent pool
- Partner with managers to ensure every hire meets our bar for excellence
- End to end ownership and coordination of store-level hiring processes from sourcing to offer
- Deliver data driven insights to elevate hiring performance
- Own ATS accuracy, reporting, and hiring analytics
- Build feedback loops with Ops and People to continuously improve quality and speed
- Innovate and evolve our recruitment strategy
- Integrate tech and tools to make the process faster, smarter, and more scalable
- Propose new creative ways to better identify and score candidate potential

More people deserve great coffee and Blank Street strives to make this possible. Blank Street’s formula involves technology enabled, micro-footprint brick-and-mortar spaces which operate at a cheap price meaning they can produce excellent coffee, also, at a reasonable price.
What started as one electric-powered coffee cart in 2020 has expanded to over 90 locations across the US and the UK. Blank Street wants to serve coffee cheaper than Starbucks but tastier than Dunkin’ Donuts – its main competitors – and has done so with automation, specifically Eversys espresso makers that can produce 700 drinks an hour.
The chain has received mighty financing too, including from real estate tycoon Tishman Speyer as well as from General Catalyst Partners and Tiger Global Management. This brand is certainly making its mark as its growth has remained at an impressive rate, especially following its entrance into the thriving coffee shop market in the UK.
