Role
Who you are
- Work with the Director of Business Development and teammates to create a daily workflow that will allow for on-time completion of daily/weekly/monthly tasks
- Energetic, friendly, and goal driven with the ability to handle rejection
- Understanding of how to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time efficiently
- Ability to communicate effectively with current and prospective clients through written and verbal communication
- Familiarity with G-Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
- High School degree or equivalent
- 0-2 years of experience with inside sales or a high call volume environment
What the job involves
- We are searching for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to call on qualified, prospective and enrolled franchised and independent powersports dealerships
- You will sell Octane’s primary value proposition of Speed and Ease to key dealership employees to enroll, train, and engage the dealership with the primary goal of positioning Octane as a solution to their lending needs to increase application and loan volume and market penetration
- Make multiple outbound calls to powersports dealerships, including cold calling
- Achieve monthly production, enrollment, and engagement goals
- Qualify leads from multiple sources including digital campaigns, conferences, dealership referrals, and trade shows
- Create and maintain a database and/or CRM of current and prospective clients
- Resolve dealership issues within a timely manner to minimize the impact to the dealership and Octane
- Ability to seek advice/guidance on complex dealer issues and work to a resolution
