Who you are
- Educational Background: Successfully completed studies or training in a technical or IT-related field
- Data Expertise: Experience working with large datasets and managing data efficiently
- Database Proficiency: Solid knowledge of database management systems such as Access, MySQL, Oracle, Adabas, Transbase, PostgreSQL, and T-SQL
- SQL Mastery: Strong command of SQL and the ability to use it effectively in various scenarios
- Data Formats: Familiarity with data exchange formats like JSON, XML and CSV
- Language: Fluent in English and German (B2)
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities, a knack for simplifying complex topics, and an eye for detail
- Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the ability to contribute intercultural competence in a diverse team environment
What the job involves
- In this role you´ll have the opportunity to analyze complex data, provide actionable insights and help to shape the future of the automotive industry
- With your technical expertise, precision and team spirit, you´ll contribute to making high-quality data accessible across the industry
- You'd be a part of a highly diverse team of 8 people located across Europe and work in an agile way
- Data Optimization: Normalize and structure manufacturer data for consistent and efficient use
- Data Analysis: Evaluate manufacturer data in terms of structure, quality, and formats to ensure seamless processing
- Integration Scenarios: Present and demonstrate possible integration solutions for manufacturer data into existing systems
- System Connectivity: Build and maintain connections to internal systems for smooth data exchange
Our take
If you've ever tried to source a part for a car repair, you'll know it can be a real nightmare. Vehicles are precision instruments, but without standardisation, identifying the exact part you need can be extremely difficult. TecAlliance was founded in 1994 to solve this problem, bringing together parts manufacturers to create a digital catalogue of everything automotive, and has since grown into a leading data analysis and order management platform for the aftermarket automotive industry.
The TecAlliance data hub standardises data for all parts and makes this information readily available for sellers, centralises official repair and maintenance workflows for easy access, and provides automation tools for invoicing and data quality checks. Compared to in-house solutions this represents huge savings in time and labour, and allows for greatly improved customer service. TecAlliance counts numerous major firms among its clients including AutoDoc, Bosch and Shaeffler to name a few.
TecAlliance continues to develop its product with strategic acquisitions, for instance, JNPSoft, a major product information software provider in North America. It is expanding its network of partners and subsidiaries and investing in data research to improve the effectiveness of its product range.
