Role
Who you are
- If you’re passionate about coding and want to gain hands-on experience in a high-growth startup environment, this is your chance to help shape a global wholesale marketplace that thousands of retailers and suppliers rely on daily
- Currently enrolled in a relevant study program or have at least 6 months of software engineering experience
- Familiarity with PHP8, Laravel (Vue is a plus)
- Experience developing RESTful APIs
- Fluent in English, Dutch is a pre
- You are proactive, have a hands-on mentality, can handle complex and unstructured data, and enjoy engaging with your colleagues!

- Orderchamp is on a mission to build the future of B2B commerce, and we’re looking for a Back-End Development Intern to join our engineering team in Amsterdam

- As a Back-End Development Intern, you’ll work alongside our talented team to create user-friendly, API-first solutions that drive our business forward
- Supporting the development of innovative solutions for thousands of retailers and suppliers
- Contributing to enhancing the scalability of our eCommerce platform
- Writing quality code, documentation, and automated tests
- Collaborating with one of our core teams
- Retailer Experience: Focus on optimising the shopping experience through dynamic filtering, search, recommendations, and checkout, along with developing our dropshipping platform
- Supplier Engagement: Work on the self-service portal for suppliers, manage integrations with leading eCommerce, POS, and ERP systems, and enhance dropshipping and order management features

The company lists over 6,000 premium brands on its marketplace which can be purchased wholesale through flexible 60-day payment plans, with free shipping on orders above €250 and with low minimum order quantities.
Wholesale marketplaces for brands and retailers are nothing new, but Orderchamp has taken a unique stance in the market by minimising its minimum order sizes and providing flexible payment options in order to be affordable to any business, regardless of size. Furthermore, the use of data-driven algorithms provides an additional strength over competitors by recommending users products that will sell well based on their store. Orderchamp now boasts a network of over 100,000 independent retailers, which is testament to its impact.
