Who you are

This position requires software engineering skills, interpersonal skills as well as an understanding of our technology stack, and a dedication to producing high-quality results
Degree educated or other relevant qualification
1-2 years experience at Junior/Mid level
Software development languages: C# / Javascript / T-SQL / Markdown / Html+CSS/LESS / Powershell
Knowledge of React / .NET / SQL Server / Windows stack
Familiarity with the core tools: Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Notepad++, Git, SSMS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

What the job involves

Reporting To: Engineering Manager
Our Software Engineers are responsible for creating and reviewing software deliverables within our feature teams for our products and services
Writing high-quality code, tests, and documentation along with other technical content for AutoRek using our development stack
Participates in review processes, addressing review issues, and bug fixes
Support the team to deliver tasks in a timely manner
Contributing to requirements capture and specification writing for work to be undertaken
Using our scaled agile approach, working in sprints, assisting with Product Increment Planning, taking part in internal support processes
