Role
Who you are
- 1–2+ years of recruiting coordination, executive coordination, or high-volume administrative experience
- Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities without things falling through the cracks
- Strong communicator in writing and over video — clear, concise, and professional across every channel
- High sense of urgency: you understand that slow scheduling hurts the candidate experience and costs the business
- Comfortable operating independently in a remote, fast-paced environment — you do not need a manager to tell you what to do next
- Confident managing multi-timezone logistics without a second thought
- Experience with Greenhouse (ATS) or Gem is a strong plus — but if you haven't used them before, you'll pick them up quickly
- Based in the UK with the ability to work UK business hours

What the job involves
- This is a 4 month contract position. Benefits are not offered for this position
- Chainguard is securing the software supply chain, and our EMEA recruiting engine is growing fast
- We're looking for a contract Recruiting Coordinator to keep the machine running — someone who takes ownership of the candidate experience, keeps the calendar airtight across multiple time zones, and makes our EMEA recruiters faster at everything they do
- You will be the operational backbone of a team that moves quickly and holds a high bar
- Own end-to-end interview scheduling for two EMEA recruiters — coordinating across UK, European, and APAC time zones without dropping the ball
- Manage candidate communications, ensuring every touchpoint is timely, professional, and reflects a high-quality candidate experience
- Maintain and update candidate records in the ATS, ensuring pipeline data is accurate and audit-ready at all times
- Prepare and distribute interview materials, agendas, and panel briefs ahead of every interview loop
- Flag scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, or process gaps proactively — don't wait to be asked
- Support the team with administrative tasks including job postings, reporting, and internal logistics
- Coordinate across stakeholders independently — hiring managers, panelists, and candidates — without needing hand-holding on standard workflows
Our take
Developers rely on open source code and apps in their day to day work, but when the provenance of the code is unknown this creates potential weaknesses that cybercriminals can exploit. Chainguard exists to build security into the coding supply chain by making it possible for companies to enforce security policies based on auditable signatures baked into the code.
In the wake of huge cyber attacks, software supply chain security has been an area of major focus. However, most of this has surrounded the scanning and detection of threats. Chainguard's approach comes from the other end of the process, focusing on building security into the software itself.
Built by former engineers who are aware of developer workloads, Chainguard is designed to be easily installed and integrated into existing automation systems. The company has secured substantial funding, the latest of which will support more aggressive product and R&D spending as it looks to further boost sales.
