Role
Who you are
- Create engaging UI/UX using Flutter & Dart
- Work with a combination of data from several different games and sources
- Collaborate with the design team implement cross-platform, responsive interfaces
- Implement support for new games and overlays, as well as supporting existing features
- Debug and fix issues from development to production
- Propose and implement solutions for technical problems
- Perform code reviews following best practices that are considered effective among peers
- Proficiency in Flutter for both mobile and desktop platforms
- Solid understanding of Dart programming language
- Familiarity with GraphQL / Rest APIs
- Knowledge of Git for version control
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Capability to perform efficiently in both remote and hybrid settings
Desirable
- Previous experience in the gaming industry
- Proficiency with accessible design and accessibility best practices
- Familiarity with Figma
- Experience with custom Flutter embeddings

- We are seeking a Staff Flutter Engineer to join the Blitz team where you will be instrumental in shaping a new platform that enhances gaming experiences through interactive mobile applications and dynamic overlays
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate various data streams into cohesive and engaging user interfaces, while also crafting innovative overlays that enrich gameplay
- Your contributions will be critical in shaping both the functional and visual aspects of our platform, ultimately improving how players interact with their favorite games
Our take
Blitz is providing a platform for online multiplayer gaming, with a specific focus on competitive gameplay. Founded in 2019 by a team of former eSport professionals and game developers, Blitz was created with the goal of developing a more streamlined and accessible way for gamers to compete in their favorite games.
The platform supports a range of popular games, including Apex Legends, League of Legends, and Valorant, among others. As well as offering a variety of features, including automated matchmaking, live stat tracking, and a leaderboard system that allows gamers to compete for prizes and recognition, Blitz is enhancing the competitive gaming experience.
Over the years Blitz has secured a number of partnerships with several of the world's leading gaming companies, including Riot Games and Epic Games, and most recently announced it would be partnering with Avalanche to bring its platform to the world of Web3. With Avalanche emerging as a leader in game development, this is a critical time for the acceleration of Blitz' platform.
