Head of Engineering, Hoxton Farms

• A degree in Engineering, Bioprocessing, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology or a related field
• Experience building and leading a team, managing an engineering roadmap and setting long-term cross-functional strategy
• Hands-on experience in a startup (Series A+) or scale-up
• Experience delivering real-world, complex engineering projects to ambitious timelines
• Proven ability to make long-term strategic decisions
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex technical information to diverse internal and external stakeholders
• A willingness to learn from domain experts at Hoxton Farms
• A bold mindset, ready to innovate and challenge industry standards in the design process
• You should be a highly experienced leader with a proven track record of hiring engineers, managing projects and developing strategy in a commercial setting

• Reporting to the CEO, you’ll work closely with the leadership team to shape the company’s roadmap, drive major engineering build projects and ensure our production capability keeps pace with our commercial goals
• From deciding the scale-up strategy to delivering our next facility, you’ll have end-to-end responsibility for how we turn science into scalable, sustainable food
• Hoxton Farms is growing quickly as we scale up our pilot manufacturing facility in London and build plans for large-scale manufacturing in the UK and overseas
