3+ years of professional software development experience

What the job involves

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our growing team
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our AI systems, solutions, and products
Design and implement scalable and maintainable backend systems using a variety of programming languages
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate backend systems with user-facing applications
Optimize database performance and implement data security measures
Write clean, maintainable code that follows best practices and adheres to coding standards
Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure the quality and reliability of our products
Building, releasing, and maintaining containerized solutions

Our take

Normally, extracting information from documents with AI requires that AI to be trained on the specific type of form it will be dealing with. Lazarus AI delivers RikAI, a large language model capable of extracting data from any document without training.

Lazarus' advanced document-understanding API can contextualize information, analyze layouts and find answers to natural language questions across any number of documents. The company also offers Lazarus Forms, a general data extraction API that makes unstructured PDFs more usable.

The potential time-saves make Lazurus AI a great option in industries such as insurance and legal, where document processing takes up a large chunk of operations. The company has raised funding from WaveFx that will be used to expand its operations and its development efforts.
