With the highest genetic diversity of any organisms on earth, bacteria hold tremendous potential for novel treatments, gene therapy, and commercial applications. But to this day, under 1% of all bacteria have been cultured in labs for chemical discovery.
Bactobio is a biotechnology company helping realise the full potential locked in bacteria, by harvesting bacterial metabolites from biological dark matter. Its Bacterial Community Cultivation platform enables new bacteria to be cultured and screened for novel applications.
In order to make more ground-breaking discoveries, Bactobio is expanding its business operations team. By seeking to strengthen brand awareness and market analysis, as well as guide the core direction of the company, it is setting out to help define the future of biotechnology.
