Treasury Analyst, Inmarsat

• Corporate treasury experience in an international company
• Degree in Business/Finance, or keen to study for accountancy or ACT
• Enthusiastic, motivated and a self-starter with a desire to play a key role in a high performing team
• Attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced skills in Excel, Word, Power Point
• Comfortable with developing business, bank and stakeholder relationships

• We are currently presenting an exciting opportunity for a Treasury Analyst to join our Treasury team, which is part of the wider Global Tax & Treasury Team and sits within the Finance Division of Inmarsat’s business. As part of a small team there will be opportunities to learn and develop across the breadth of corporate treasury activities. The Global Tax and Treasury team is outward-facing, proactively collaborating with other parts of the Finance Division and the wider business to manage Inmarsat’s tax affairs
• Undertake day to day treasury operations including cash and liquidity management, foreign exchange management and intragroup funding
• Manage the group’s cash on a daily basis, in accordance with approved group policies, including the placing of deposits and the drawdown of facilities
• Report weekly and monthly on the Group’s cash and net debt position, including performance review against Key Performance Indicators
• Take responsibility for FX spot, forward and swap trading to support the daily cash operations
• Ensure the group is adequately funded by lending cash intra-group as and when required
• Ensure all intercompany funding documentation is valid and maintained
• Proactively identify Treasury Operations process gaps and work with the team to improve Treasury processes
• Take primary “ownership” of all the Group’s treasury payment systems, including reviewing users regularly to ensure accesses are in line with specific job requirements
• Maintain Group’s banking relationships for cash management and FX trading
• Develop strong partnerships between Treasury and the business units and other Group Finance Teams, such as AP, central payments, cash operations etc., to ensure smooth day to day treasury operations
• Provide support on a variety of ad-hoc projects, as required
• Manage KYC requests from banking partners
• Assist with external audit requests as necessary
• Manage bank accounts and mandates and user administration on banking platforms
