Who you are
- You are enrolled at a German university, working towards your Bachelor's or Master's degree
- You have prior knowledge or experience in data analysis, business strategy, or business technology/statistics
- Ideally, you have a background in mathematics, business technology, or statistics
- You are comfortable working with Excel and Google Sheets (e.g., data analysis, pivot tables)
- You are detail-oriented, reliable, and able to manage tasks independently
- You are proficient in English
What the job involves
- As a working student in our team, you'll support our platform optimization efforts by analyzing data, preparing reports, and providing valuable insights to guide decision-making
- Analyze data and identify trends to support platform performance and business strategy
- Prepare overviews, reports, and presentations for senior leadership
- Work with Google Sheets and Excel to clean, manipulate, and analyze data
- Monitor key performance metrics and suggest improvements
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather data and generate insights for business decisions
Our take
For years, JustWatch served as a global streaming guide, simplifying the search for shows across platforms like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. On top of this, it leveraged user data to run targeted movie marketing campaigns.
However, in the 2020s, JustWatch introduces a significant upgrade. Following in the footsteps of Plex and Reelgood, users can now seamlessly search, access, and receive recommendations from all their streaming services within a single app.
Remarkably, despite minimal external funding since its 2014 inception, JustWatch has expanded into approximately 60 markets with a team exceeding a hundred members. As the streaming services market becomes increasingly diverse and fragmented, JustWatch finds itself in a promising position to capitalize on these developments.
