Who you are
- Accounting background/expertise strongly preferred
- Multifamily technology experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems is strongly preferred
What the job involves
- Sales Engineers are the primary technical resource for the sales team. Sales Engineers are responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical adviser and product advocate for our products
- The Sales Engineer must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users, identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to ensure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process and establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle
- Responsible for learning products and services in the core offering with value propositions
- Assist Regional Vice Presidents in the small to mid-sized markets to close business
- Assist the Regional Vice President with client discovery calls
- Research customer needs and strategize with the assigned Regional Vice President before delivering a solutions presentation
- Utilize discovery to create a solutions-based presentation for each client via online meeting platforms
- Establish customer rapport and acceptance
- Assist the Regional Vice President with post-presentation follow-up items and coordinating with product teams when needed
- Represent the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc
- Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
- Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams
