Role
Who you are
- 6–10 years of experience building and operating backend or distributed systems in high-scale production environments, aligning with P4 expectations
- Strong proficiency in Go, with a demonstrated ability to quickly adopt new languages and frameworks as needed
- Deep experience designing and operating distributed systems, databases, and streaming architectures
- Proven track record of delivering scalable, reliable systems with measurable impact on performance, availability, and developer experience
- Experience working with Web3, blockchain infrastructure, or high-throughput API platforms, including familiarity with RPC services, node infrastructure, or data streaming pipelines
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex, cross-system issues in production environments
- Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, prioritize effectively, and deliver outcomes in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Excellent communication skills with experience collaborating across engineering, product, and customer-facing teams
What the job involves
- As a Senior Go Engineer on the RPC Platform team at Quicknode, you will design, build, and scale the critical infrastructure that powers high-performance blockchain RPC services used by developers and enterprises globally
- This role operates at the intersection of distributed systems, Web3 infrastructure, and developer experience, requiring deep technical ownership and a strong bias toward execution
- Design, build, and optimize high-throughput, low-latency backend services in Go
- Architect distributed systems
- Own end-to-end delivery from design through production
- Improve uptime and reduce latency across services
- Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, and DevEx teams
- Debug and resolve complex production issues
- Drive engineering standards and best practices
