Who you are
- Clear, demonstrable and sophisticated understanding and hands-on experience of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery
- Lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative
- Engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship
- Experience in a growth role in a scaleup
What the job involves
- We are looking for a versatile, collaborative, experienced and ambitious growth product manager to help us go to the next level as we rapidly expand into new countries and audiences
- Your responsibility will be to make sure that customers who come to our site find everything they need to make a decision to book with us
- You’ll be part of a dynamic micro-team with a clear focus, bringing together engineering, product management, and design to work towards shared goals
- You and your dedicated “two-pizza” team will own the “pre-booking” experience for at least the next year
- Preferred Start Date: Q1 2025

Reconciling travel booking with environmental impact reduction is no mean feat, but Much Better Adventures does just that by cutting out the middle man in travel agency bookings. The company operates as a marketplace and travel agency that works directly with local organisations to build adventure travel experiences for customers.
With a presence on every continent, Much Better Adventures claims that $76 of every $100 spent on its platform goes back into the local economy of the travel destination. This is an unprecedented boon for the tourism ecosystem, which, according to the United Nations Environmental Programme, usually sees as little as $5 going back into local economies.
The activities available on Much Better Adventures have grown exponentially over the last decade, as have its local guides and teams affiliated with the company. Bouncing back impressively after the COVID pandemic, the company continues to expand its range of sustainable travel offerings.
