Who you are
- The ideal candidate will have proven experience sourcing, recruiting and partnering with business stakeholders to hire world class talent for our small, high producing Engineering team at Lambda
- 5+ years of sourcing experience with a search firm or in-house recruiting team
- Experience working with and building sourcing strategies with hiring managers
- Experience with research/sourcing tools such as LinkedIn, Linkedin Talent Insights and other social media, or technical forums like GitHub, Discord, Stack OverFlow etc
- Proven experience in hiring talent within Eng and or Tech XFN functions - including Software Engineering and/or Artificial Intelligence (AI) related roles (IC or leadership)
- Experience developing and executing candidate generation and research techniques
- Experience screening resumes to match qualifications
- Experience approaching and nurturing passive candidates
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with team members and hiring managers and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- A self-starter who is action and result-oriented, resourceful, innovative, intellectually curious, and who takes initiative and risks
- Have a strong passion for our industry and demonstrate a strong ability to embrace and adapt to changes and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
What the job involves
- Lambda is looking for a Senior Technical Sourcer to join our recruiting team
- In this role, you will work closely with our Recruiters and hiring managers to develop strategies to find untapped candidates
- You will be playing a key role in helping Lambda grow with finding world class talent for highly technical nuanced roles that work at the forefront of the AI/ML infrastructure, including finding experts in high performance computing, GPU compute, low latency networking, and state of the art data centers
- Work closely with Technical Recruiters and hiring managers to deeply understand requirements of the role, the function and how it fits into the organization
- Strategize different ways to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, events and sourcing campaigns
- Innovate and drive sourcing strategies such as sourcing in GitHub, Reddit, BlueSky, OpenSource and other relevant forums using various tools to help influence engineering hiring strategies
- Find, engage and activate passive candidates through the use of Boolean, LinkedIn and alternative search techniques
- Screen resumes and interview candidates to determine basic qualifications
- Recommend and drive improvements that impact local pipeline areas
- Build and share knowledge of skills, target companies, conferences, and open source communities with recruiters and hiring managers
- Utilizes data for reporting and influencing hiring decisions, while maintaining data integrity
