Role
Who you are
- 1+ years' experience working in a B2B SaaS sales role
- Team player with relentless curiosity and a strong work ethic
- Experience using CRM and sales engagement tools such as Salesforce, Gong, Nooks, or similar tools
- Proven builder mentality with an entrepreneurial spirit; ideally has built something from the ground up before (a program, project, business, organization, or initiative) and is excited to experiment, test new ideas, and help build from scratch
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with evolving processes and priorities
- Strong interest in AI, automation, and modern sales strategies

What the job involves
- As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), your core responsibility will be generating high-quality pipeline
- We believe SDRs are more critical than ever in the AI era, that the role is best AI-enhanced (not AI-replaced), and are betting big on the function
- You'll be expected to use AI fluently to research accounts, personalize outreach, and scale your impact, while bringing the judgment and product expertise that AI can't replicate
- This is not just another SDR role. One of our cultural values is to "get on the plane". We win by meeting customers face-to-face, so you'll represent Assembled at events, trade shows, and dinners
- You'll run discovery calls and demos. And you'll grow here: 40% of our Account Executives started as SDRs. We're hiring builders - people who'd rather write the playbook than read one
- You will report to our SDR Manager
- Increase pipeline by generating and booking meetings with outbound prospects
- Hit monthly and quarterly outbound goals across cold calls, email, LinkedIn, and other channels while balancing personalization at scale
- Develop and execute account penetration strategies by conducting market and account research, identifying key stakeholders, and crafting targeted outbound campaigns
- Use AI tools and automation to work more efficiently, personalize outreach at scale, and improve outbound prospecting
- Run discovery calls with prospects to qualify opportunities and understand business challenges
- Attend in-person events, conferences, and customer meetups to generate new opportunities and build relationships
- Partner closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and RevOps on outbound strategy, campaigns, and lead generation efforts

Assembled helps streamline cumbersome and error-prone customer support processes - such as planning support rosters, forecasting demand, and evaluating team performance.
Assembled already counts companies like Zoom, GoFundMe and Stripe on its customer books, and finds huge opportunity in key industries like eCommerce and food deliveries that have been seeing massive digital overhauls.
Having received significant investment, the company seems set on continued growth, with funds cited to support product development as well as help launch its CX Scholars initiative. This will commit a percentage of revenue to continuing education for support workers.
